  • STUDIO COMMUNITY COORDINATOR, PART-TIME HYBRID — Madison Heights

    The Studio Community Coordinator is the heartbeat of IronBody’s daily operations. This role ensures the studio flows seamlessly — from staff accountability and scheduling, to member satisfaction and operational excellence. It’s about being present, proactive, and invested in creating the best possible experience within our walls.

    Beyond day-to-day oversight, the Community Coordinator also supports outreach by helping with vendor events and community activations. If you thrive on people-first leadership, organization, and being the glue that holds a team together, this is the role for you.

    Reports to: Owner/Founder
    Employment Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt (Hybrid)

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee in-studio operations, ensuring smooth experiences for members and staff

    • Schedule, manage, and hold Front Desk staff accountable for timeliness and performance

    • Handle member concerns with care and problem-solving follow-through

    • Ensure the studio environment (supplies, signage, cleanliness) meets IronBody standards

    • Assist with vendor events and represent IronBody at occasional community functions

    • Provide in-studio support for capturing updates to assist with content creation

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year in management, coordination, or community engagement role

    • Leadership, organization, and communication skills

    • Ability to manage staff schedules and balance multiple priorities

    • Event planning or outreach experience preferred

    • CPR/First Aid certification preferred

    • Reliable, professional, and solutions-oriented

    Minimum Availability

    • 15–20 hours per week (mix of in-studio and flexible hybrid time)

    • Must be available during peak staffed shifts for oversight:

      • Monday – Friday: 5:30 AM–10:30 AM or 4:00 PM–9:00 PM

      • Occasional mid-day coverage as needed (11:00 AM–3:00 PM)

      • Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 AM–2:30 PM (rotational coverage)

    Our Front Desk team is the first impression of IronBody Studios and the heartbeat of our daily operations. This role goes beyond checking members in — it’s about creating a positive, seamless experience for every person who walks through our doors.

    Reports to: Studio Community Coordinator
    Employment Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt (W-2)

    Responsibilities

    • Welcome members and guests, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression

    • Manage scheduling, bookings, and account questions

    • Process sales for memberships, passes, and retail items

    • Keep the lobby, front desk, and retail area clean and organized

    • Support trainers and instructors with class check-ins and member communications

    • Assist with community events, promotions, and member outreach

    Qualifications

    • Customer service or hospitality experience preferred

    • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

    • Comfortable using scheduling and point-of-sale systems

    • Passion for fitness and wellness

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

    This isn’t traditional childcare — it’s about keeping kids safe and happy while their parents focus on themselves. If you love working with children and have the patience and energy to make their time enjoyable, this role is a perfect fit.

    At IronBody, our story lives both online and in the neighborhood. The Social & Community Outreach Manager is responsible for shaping that presence — from creating authentic content on social media to securing opportunities for IronBody to shine through community features, vendor partnerships, and media coverage.

    This hybrid role blends creativity with connection. You’ll manage IronBody’s digital platforms, highlight member stories, and showcase events, while also representing us in the broader community. If you’re equally comfortable behind the camera and at the table networking, this role is for you.

    Reports to: Owner/Founder (collaboration with Studio Community Coordinator)
    Employment Status: Part-Time / Contract (Hybrid, in-studio presence required)

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, create, and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms

    • Capture authentic video/photo content from classes, events, and daily studio life

    • Highlight members, staff, and community partnerships across channels

    • Track analytics and adapt strategies for growth and engagement

    • Pitch and secure media coverage in newspapers, local TV, and community outlets

    • Represent IronBody at vendor events and outreach opportunities

    • Collaborate with the Studio Community Coordinator to stay aligned with daily happenings

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of social media management, content creation, or marketing experience

    • Skilled in storytelling, copywriting, and short-form video content

    • Familiarity with editing tools and current social trends

    • Strong communication skills with confidence in community-facing settings

    • Creative, organized, and able to work independently

    • Hybrid availability — role requires in-studio presence (not fully remote)

    Minimum Availability

    • 10–15 hours per week (contract)
